Spring isn't too far away , does anyone have any plans for their gardens ?

I'm not gonna be doing too much this year veg growing wise due to , to many commiments. but i am planning to grow pumpkins again, plant more strawberry plants, pea and potatos.

But generally wanna just be chilling in garden playing and relaxing with lots of BBQ's this year indtead of doing hours and hours of gardening like last year.

I really need to grow more than salad this year!
I grow so many tomatoes for eating and making chutney with at the end of the season, but I am sure family and friends are fed up with tomato chutney each Christmas now!

My tomatoes were horrible last year. I had three different sorts and none of them were particularly nice - either very 'tart' or such tough skin they just didn't do it for me!

What sort do you grow, and how can I make them taste good?

I used to have really good runner beans too, but the last two years were awful - either very stringy or brown and mottled. HELP - my fingers are just not green enough!

Ours too Sarah.Got to re-do our fences(we seem to attract bad fences - that blow down with a sneeze force of a breeze) You can totally see into our muddy, messy garden from the main road.

Nanny J, I grow little cherry ones (I am sure they are so money makers or gardeners delight)
I get them from the same place every year - Wellow.
They are so..sssssssoooooooo sweet, Cadence will sit and eat a little bowl full like they were a bowl of sweets and the plant grows 100's.
I will *scream* when I go over to get some to see if you want some.

YES PLEASE!!! And if you know they do really good runner beans, I would love some of those too!

The way things are going, it will be July before we can actually get anything going!!!
